Artist Bio

Michelle Pressler’s jewelry expresses her love of color and her desire for rich simplicity in design. To Michelle, “less is more” means that only a few key elements are needed to accentuate and compliment each other, resulting in a design that is simple yet sophisticated.

Michelle’s fascination with semiprecious stones began as a child.  She collected them and recognized the power of their beauty on the senses.  Later, after working in the fashion industry as designer and illustrator, Michelle was drawn back to working with stones.  She found the opportunity with highly successful jewelry company Subtle Creature, where she became production manager, and then assistant designer.  The experience proved invaluable, and led to the forming of her own company, where she can work in her own aesthetic.
