Artist Bio

Danielle Chavez was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware.  She is a self-taught artist who has been selling her photography and paintings throughout the state since 2003.  She currently resides near Lewes, Delaware.

Danielle is inspired by the beauty of nature and favors tranquil scenes with unique colors in the sky and water as the subject matter for her art.  She enjoys plein air painting beach scenes using water-soluble oils.  Her photography has been published in Woman’s World Magazine; The 2007-2009 State of Delaware Travel Guide; and the 2007 Delaware Film Office’s Regional Production Guide.
